Inoltre, la data di svolgimento della manifestazione sarà sabato 22 giugno 2013, uno slittamento dovuto al riassetto del calendario internazionale delle gare di mountain bike. Ed è proprio sotto questo aspetto che la Südtirol Sellaronda HERO si appresta ad entrare nella famiglia dell’ UCI, essendo la ottava tappa del circuito UCI Marathon World Series 2013. Il percorso 84 km sarà valido come Marathon World Series men e women, mentre al mondiale 2015 il percorso 84 km sarà valido per la classifica maschile mentre il tracciato da 62 km per quella femminile. Come gli anni passati la gara sarà aperta a tutti: i tesserati nelle varie categorie, mentre per chi non possiede affiliazione a nessuna federazione sarà classificato nella graduatoria “hobby”. Per tutti, comunque, il 22 giugno 2013 sarà un giorno da eroi!

Das Rennen findet am Samstag, 22. Juni 2013 statt – eine Verschiebung, die aufgrund der Neuordnung des internationalen Rennkalenders nötig wurde. Denn auch der Südtirol SellarondaHERO bereitet sich darauf vor, Teil der UCI-Familie zu werden – er ist die achte Etappe in den UCI Marathon World Series 2013. Während die 84-km-Strecke 2013 als Marathon World Series Men und Women gültig sein wird, wird sie bei der WM 2015 zur Klassifikation der Männer dienen. Auf der der 62- km-Strecke messen sich dann die Frauen. Wie schon in den vergangenen Jahren, ist das Rennen für jedermann offen: Radsportler mit Lizenz der unterschiedlichen Kategorien können ebenso teilnehmen wie diejenigen, die in keinem Verband eingeschrieben sind und deshalb in der „Hobby“-Kategorie mitfahren. Doch für sie alle wird der 22. Juni 2013 ein Tag für echte Helden werden!

Furthermore the race will be held one week later than usual, on Saturday 22nd June, so as to fit in with the international mountain bike calendar. The significance is clear for the SüdtirolSellaronda HERO sis becoming part of the UCI family, and the race will be the 8th on the UCI Marathon World Series circuit 2013. The 84 km race will be valid as Marathon World Series men e women, whilst in the 2015 event the 84 km route will be valid for the mens classification whilst the 62 km route will be valid for the womens. As in previous year the race will be open to all: those being members of a federation can dispute various categories whilst the amateur riders will take part in the “hobby” category. Wichever category bikers are in one thing is sure – they will all be heroes for the day of 22nd June!!
